Mindset is Key To Making Bank

The actions you resist the most are the ones you need to be taking 99% of the times, in order to move the needle in your business and grow bank. 

Are you feeling this? This truth right here is why mindset is such a hot topic. Because realistically and practically, mindset work is the most important work for your growth and for the growth of your business.  

The measure of your business growth is multidimensional, but generation of revenue is an absolute deal breaker.

The thoughts and emotions you despise the most, are the ones you need to work through in order to make big bucks in your business venture.

Here’s an evident example of it: The NUMBER ONE thing most new (especially female) entrepreneurs resist the most in their newly founded business is sales.

Am I right?

Because sales is THE ONE thing that establishes the business.

Fundamentally, everyone knows this, but it is still one of the biggest obstacles in business. Why is this so?

Well, because most new entrepreneurs, and especially us women, have a great deal of mindset work that needs to be done around asking for a sale, putting a price on our services ( and value). Your belief system creates your real life experiences whether in business or personally. So in order to nip the problem at its root, you have to look at the roots. In the case of sales, you have to look at the root beliefs around why you feel discomfort when selling your business.

This is why strategy won’t help, because the real kink that needs to be smoothed is in the mindset.

No matter the strategy, no matter the amount of calls you do with prospects, if you don’t believe the sale is possible for you, it won’t happen. The fuel behind this belief are the beliefs you have about yourself. The resistance that results from these keeps you in a vicious cycle that keeps you from taking action - or not taking it. 

If you are walking into your sales process with your own fears, objections, and limiting beliefs, how are you supposed to help your prospects work through their stuff?

You are not wrong for having them.

But you are responsible for working through them.

Overcoming fears, resistance, limiting beliefs AND sales objections  is like plugging a leaking water pipe. To plug these “leaks” in your mindset, you have to:

  • Accept and acknowledge that there is a leak.

    • Notice whenever your resistance is the loudest, and ask yourself what’s really beneath this resistance.

  • Bring your awareness to exactly where is the leak.

    • Once you determine which belief is causing these “leaks” you can create a plan of action to plug the leak.

  • Decide that plugging the leak is possible and take action on your decision pronto!

    • Decide and figure out how exactly will you plug the leak i.e. which alternative action or thought will you engage in to push against the resistance. A clear plan of action will make it easier to push against the grain.

If you keep things simple, and do them with devotion and consistency, they WILL work. So plug the leak of resistance that fear or a limiting belief is creating for you. Take practical steps to your mindset work.
